Utilize Parazute independently or in conjunction with a network of your choosing invited to the app. Parazute incorporates scientifically validated methods, and the data can be utilized in collaboration with your healthcare professional.

When facing mental health challenges, it is common to struggle to reach out for assistance during times of distress. Parazute alleviates this burden by activating support from your network when your mental status deteriorates. Timely support, even at the onset of minor changes in mental well-being, can help prevent severe outcomes like hospitalization, self-harm, or worse.

Parazute can be beneficial for various mental disorders where occasional support from a social network is beneficial for progress, including ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, dementia, depression, addiction disorders, OCD, PTSD, psychoses, self-harm behaviors, schizophrenia, eating disorders, stress-related conditions, and more.

With Parazute, Relatives Can Remain Calm

Family members often endure significant stress and anxiety while trying to support their loved ones daily. With Parazute, you will be alerted when a friend or family member experiencing mental health issues requires your assistance.

How Parazute Works

The Parazute app updates the network on mental health status through brief daily inputs that take less than a minute for the patient. If there is concerning progression in mental well-being, the chosen "Parazuters"—comprising trusted family members, friends, and caregivers—are notified to provide support.

Parazute does not diagnose mental illnesses or assess the severity of a particular mental state; for instance, distinguishing between severe, moderate, or mild depression. It serves as an early detection tool for changes in mental well-being and activates support from the network accordingly.

In situations signaling self-harm tendencies, immediate help should be sought actively.

Parazute was developed collaboratively by patients, family members, and mental healthcare professionals in partnership with the Danish National Association for Mental Health.

Our Social Commitment Goes Beyond Words

Parazute was created through genuine co-creation efforts. Each Parazute team member possesses firsthand experience in the field of mental illness—whether as a patient, relative, or healthcare provider; this shared experience is an essential requirement for employment.

We pledge to allocate 30% of our monthly fees towards scientific research devoted to digital psychiatry and promoting the emotional well-being of families.

Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your Apple account upon confirmation. They will renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
